Welcome to Motueka River Lodge. We aim to provide our guests with a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully, as they outline important information regarding your stay with us.

1. General Information

1.1 By booking and staying at Motueka River Lodge, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

1.2 These terms and conditions apply to all bookings, regardless of whether they are made directly with Motueka River Lodge or through a third-party booking platform.

1.3 We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Please review them before your stay.

2. Bookings and Reservations

2.1 All bookings are subject to availability.

2.2 A reservation is confirmed only when Motueka River Lodge has received payment or a deposit (if applicable) as per our payment policy.

2.3 The person making the reservation must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for ensuring all guests comply with these terms.

3. Payment and Cancellation Policy

3.1 Payment for bookings can be made by credit card, debit card, or other accepted payment methods listed on our website.

3.2 Full payment may be required at the time of booking, depending on the rate plan selected.

3.3 Cancellations must be made in accordance with our cancellation policy:

  • If cancelled before 90 days prior to arrival, a full refund will be issued.

  • If cancelled within 60 days, 100% of the total booking fee may be charged.

  • No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of arrival will incur the full booking amount.

3.4 Please note that any refund requests may take up to 30 business days to process.

4. Check-in and Check-out

4.1 Check-in time is from 3 PM. Check-out time is by 11 AM. Early check-ins and late check-outs are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

4.2 Guests are required to present valid identification upon check-in.

4.3 Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight. Any additional guests may incur additional charges or result in termination of the booking.

5. Damage and Liability

5.1 Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or contents during their stay. Charges for any damages or missing items will be added to the guest’s account.

5.2 Motueka River Lodge is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of guests’ personal property. We recommend securing valuable items.

5.3 Guests are expected to maintain quiet and respect the comfort of other guests and neighbours.

6. Smoking and Pets Policy

6.1 Motueka River Lodge is a non-smoking property. Smoking within the property will result in a cleaning fee of [NZD amount].

6.2 Pets are [allowed/not allowed] on the property unless otherwise stated.

7. Health and Safety

7.1 For health and safety reasons, guests are prohibited from using the property for any illegal activities.

9. Governing Law

9.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
